Porcelain, annealed steel wire, latex paint, 10 ft.x9 ft.x12 ft. installed, 2010. Each flower is approximately 3.5 inches in diameter.

As you travel around the left side of the room, you follow the path of the Underground railroad north from the southern border of the Maryland mainland, up through Washington DC and then on to Baltimore before ending up north of the Mason Dixon line in Philadelphia. The other wall shows the paths along the Maryland peninsula north.
